Yossef Wahab

Yossef “Yossi” Wahab, 65, of Kibbutz Nir Oz, was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a natural leader and an enthusiastic guide to the land and history of Israel. Raised in Holon, he was active in Hashomer Hatzair and loved photography from a young age. He served in Nahal, worked as an Egged bus driver and later held several leadership roles at Nir Oz, including community coordinator and manager. Yossi loved motorcycles and led riding tours around Israel, weaving history and stories into every trip. Family and friends remembered him as charismatic, dependable, funny and endlessly curious—someone who brought people together and tried to enjoy every corner of the country he loved.
