Yorai Eliyahu Cohen, 29, was a Yamam counter-terrorism officer from Nahariya, a husband and devoted father to his one-year-old daughter. Called to the front on October 7, Yorai headed toward Sderot with his team and was redirected to the Sha’ar Hanegev Junction. He fought Hamas terrorists there in a heavy firefight and was killed alongside fellow Yamam officer Avraham Hankin.
