Ziva Ovitz, 77, of Moshav Ami’oz, was a beloved wife, mother of three and grandmother of 11. Her family remembered her as someone who always worried about her children and grandchildren and taught them that humanity should come first. She was famous in the moshav for the matbucha she prepared every Friday from a full box of tomatoes, and everyone wanted her recipe. Ziva had dreamed of traveling to Dubai with her family. She was critically injured while trying to reach the bomb shelter during the October 7 rocket attacks and died of her wounds several days later.
